A drop in price, the third in the last 4 days, recorded in yesterday's trading session on the Stock Exchange ICE Futures U.S. The most active futures contract for cotton. The reason are decline of imports in China, which is the biggest consumer of that commodity in the world. According to the customs administration has weakened, compared to the same period last year, import of cotton to China in March 2011 by 15%. The decrease is the decline in import demand from Chinese manufacturers of cotton, which due to record prices for cotton, which referred to the commodity beingreached in March this year, declining profits. Over the past 12 months the price of cotton increased by 93%.
