Before you use the towels for the first time

The terry cloth is fresh from production and it is therefore advisable to wash it first before use. The first washing will cause mils shrinking of the material and thus fastening the loops of the terry to the matrix. Split towels by color and wash at 40 to 60°C (mild wash). Do not skip the rinsing cycle and if it is possible, tumble dry with medium power setting. It is not advisable to use fabric conditioners that tend to “clog” the cotton threat, diminishing the adsorption capacity and the cleaning capacity of the towel.

To make the white really white
During the early washing cycles, water may become dyed, especially from the darker-colored towels. This is caused by free molecules of the dye that may catch onto other cotton fabrics in the washing machine. It is therefore essential to observe the recommended washing temperature and separate towels for washing by color. This phenomenon does not cause any significant change in the color of the washed towels.
Color stability is influenced by any content of whitening agent in the washing powder; however, these cause merely seeming change of the original color. Do not use washing agents containing chlorine.

No hair in sight
Velour fabric (terry with the loops split) tends to release fibres. Traditional terry cloth also contains participles of cotton fabric that can come loose. The first two to three washing cycles should reliably remove these loose fibres. The downside of this phenomenon is that it takes just one piece of fabric to stand out on a contrast-colored base.

A little catch?
If you accidentally catch, pull or otherwise damage a loop of terry cloth just cut the loose and of thread. There is no need worry – the towel will not unravel.
We wish you many days of comfort with our terry products.
